Mindful Healthy Eating

Spring has sprung! I feel fresh and alive with new energy.

The food that I eat plays a big part in how I feel and also how much energy I have. That is why I choose to eat healthy, fresh, alive food. The colours are rich and inviting and so many wonderful fruits and vegetables spring to life at this time of the year. I love my vegetables. xxx Each day my meals are filled with an assortment of fresh vegies. They nourish and energise me. I especially love my vegetable juices.

I am also very aware when I am shopping for my healthy food and preparing and eating my meals, that many people have been involved in the process. I like to become mindful of all of the processes and give thanks to everyone and everything involved. The sun, the rain, the water, the soil, the seeds, the planting and harvesting, the transportation and the people involved, the retail outlets and assistants, the money that I have to purchase my food. I also am mindful and grateful for my own community garden plot and the love and joy I experience in growing my own assortment of fresh seasonal vegetables.

I love to give thanks before each meal, and to eat my food mindfully. Mindful eating slows me down and I can really relax and enjoy the experience. My body digests the food better as well.

Two of my favourite things – relaxation and healthy eating. xxx

Wishing you the joy of mindful eating. xxx

I live in love and gratitude. xxx
