Just saying the words ‘time out’ feels good to me. Our lives can be so structured by time that we fill our days with things to do and our thoughts are often focused on ‘will I have enough time’, ‘I need more time’, ‘where did all that time go’.
I mark in my diary ‘time out’ for me daily, and I also remember throughout the day to stop and focus on my breath, look at a tree, listen to the wind, stretch and relax. I check in on how I am feeling, and I choose thoughts that feel good.
I often take time away from my blog writing and my creative workshops to focus on my own creative play and creative projects. I love my blog and my workshops and I also know that I need lots of quiet time for reading, drawing, and just staring out the window. It fills my well. And that feels really good. xxx
Enjoy some time out today.
