Are you loving what you love?

Are you loving what you love? It is a favourite question of mine. When I ask this question to myself I always need to stop and contemplate my answer. First of all what is it I really love in my life. I love to journal my answer. My list is long and it always feels good. I love myself, my family, my friends, my garden, meditation, my drawing and painting, my books, my healthy food and the list goes on and on. xxx Secondly I focus on what I love, and feel the love I have for all of these blessings in my life. I like to place my hands over my heart, take several deep breaths and feel the love flowing through me and out into my world. This loving energy ignites my joy and gratitude. I feel peaceful. Then I can ask the question again. Am I loving what I love? When I am connected to this loving energy I am also aware that love is everywhere and in everything. Love is all there is! xxx
It is all about my choices and my attention.

Thanks for the great thoughts Sundari. A new way for me of looking at things rather than, ‘why aren’t those things making me happy / loving me?’ etc. Very timely and I’m going to practice this today. Mel xxx
