Power of an Image

I’ve bought a large 2015 diary with a bright turquoise blue cover and I am using it to paste an image a day for the year. I love the power of images and this daily practice is proving to be so nurturing and loving.

My self care is a top priority for me so this is a wonderful daily practice to bring me home to myself.

I have a collection of a wide variety of magazines as I love collage. So each morning I select just one magazine and I then I find an image that makes me ‘feel good’ when I look at it. I then cut it out or tear it out and paste it in my diary for that day. I then sit quietly, look gently at the image, and become aware of the feelings that are rising up in me. I observe these feelings and enjoy the experience. I then take my pen and write down each feeling next to the image. I also write an affirmation for the day that has been inspired by the image. I always write ‘Thank You’ 3 times. I live in love and gratitude. xxx

It is such a beautiful experience and each morning I look forward to this creative practice.

I love to pick up my ‘Feel Good Diary’ throughout the day or evening and browse through my images and words. It feels so good. xxx

Enjoy the power of images each day. xxx
