Walking

There is something so wonderful in taking a long walk.

It doesn’t matter what the weather is doing I take a walk every day. Walking gives me the space for creative ideas to drop into my consciousness and it gives me the space to breathe and relax. The movement seems to release any tension I may be holding onto and helps me sort out any problems I may be experiencing.

I always feel better after a long walk. There is my familiar walk to the station but I love to explore different areas and live in the mystery. Late this afternoon I walked around Darlinghurst and then Surry Hills, exploring the back streets, and came across some really interesting shops and buildings.

I arrived home refreshed, and excited about new possibilites in my creative work. I am so thankful for the ‘joy of walking’.
