Today is Earth Day 2012. Being in natural surroundings always connects me to the earth.
I celebrated in a few ways. First of all I visited my local community garden and meditated there on the blessings that Mother Earth offers me every moment. The garden shows me the bounty that the earth produces and it also shows me the beauty of bees, insects and birds that share the space with us.
On my way home I stopped at my local park, which is very large and very beautiful. I sat on the earth and felt the incredible healing energy that it provides.
I also spent some time in my own beautiful native garden, watching the birds delight in the tall trees.
Tonight I’m feeling grounded and so appreciative of Mother Earth. xxxxx Thank You. xxxxx
