Fermented Foods

I’ve just been to a fantastic free pickling and preserving evening at my local community centre.

I’ve arrived home with a jar of fermented cabbage, beetroot, carrot and spinach – a jar of pickled cucumber and carrot with garlic, onion and rosemary, plus a jar of preserved lemons and oranges. xxxx

What a fun night – everyone grating and chopping and filling their jars.

I’m looking forward to the ‘taste test’ in a few weeks. xxxx
