Follow Your Bliss

‘Follow Your Bliss’. I have had this quote by Joseph Campbell on my dressing table mirror for a long time. I’ve definitely followed my bliss on many an occasion, but at the moment I am feeling some resistance to it. I’ve been journaling and meditating to find some answers and inspiration. And yes, the answers and the inspiration come and I am observing my resistance. Change is in the air and the divine part of me is very excited about the prospect of change and new direction in my life. Then, fear raises it’s face and confronts with so many reasons why it is not the right time, not a good idea. Stay where you are, it’s safe and familiar. I’ve seen this face so many times and done a lot of work to ease it’s concerns.

I love reading A Course in Miracles and have been doing so for many years now, so I am not surprised when I find so many synchronistic moments happening that keep bringing me back to this text and workbook. The course states that only love is real.

So my key word is ‘love’, living in love. Love for my myself and love for others. When I am living in love, I listen and follow through with the divine ideas that flow through me. I trust that all is well and that I am being divinely guided in the right direction. Bring it on! Big change is definitely in the air and this time I take a deep breath and surrender to the part of me that knows how to ‘follow your bliss’.

Are you following your bliss?

I am inspired by your courage, and willingness to reflect, and look within. But most of all by your courage to remain on your path!
