Creative & Prosperous Space Clearing

I’m currently facilitating The Prosperous Heart 12 week course – using Julia Cameron’s latest book. It is Week 4 and this week the focus is on decluttering.

When we live in a clearer space we have a clearer mind. I’ve been cleaning out the kitchen cupboards and reorganising the space to make it more accessible for the things I use on a daily basis. What I noticed is that I don’t have a lot of kitchen clutter in the cupboards – it is very minimal but I do have a lot of herbal tonics and teas. As a qualified herbalist I definitely have a tendency to store a lot of herbal remedies. It was fun to pull them out and see what I had. I now have all my bottles and teas beautifully arranged and easily accessible for my daily tonic choice.

I’ve also sorted through some notes and papers on my desk and tidied my creative corner in the lounge room. It feels good. I still have stacks of books and audios and a lot of clothes to sort through. But, hey, I don’t always call them clutter as I love looking at them. It reminds me of my creative life that I love, and that has to be good for a clear mind. About prosperity, bring it on. xxx

Enjoy your creative and prosperous space.
