Meditation

I started meditating in the mid eighties and it has been a part of my life every since. Taking time each day to be still, silent and at peace. Whatever is going on in my life, meditation takes me to a space where I feel connected to my Source. Sometimes my mind is racing and it takes a while to settle it down, and sometimes it just doesn’t want to!!! But even so I still find myself feeling somehow better.

Meditation. Sitting in a comfortable position, closing my eyes and becoming aware of my breath. Feeling the air coming in and out of my nose and feeling the breath in my body, brings me very present. I follow my breath in and out. I allow the thoughts to come and go. I bring my attention to the breath. I just allow myself to be.

Twenty minutes of meditation each day has so many benefits. Better sleep. Better digestion. Reduces stress.
Improves the immune system. Can reduce blood pressure and so much more. It feels good and that is what I want.

This week take twenty minutes out of your day and meditate. Feel Good! xxxx
