A Grateful Heart

The more I practice love and gratitude, the calmer my day is.    Today I had many opportunities to connect with my heart.  The choice is mine.

Grateful today for:-  The blessing of my wide umbrella that kept me dry on this rainy day. Soy chai with a friend before work.   A wonderful gift.  A delicious meal at IKU.   Friendly faces.   Reading Julia Cameron’s new book, The Prosperous Heart, in my favourite cafe in Glebe after work.  Reliable transport.  Mixed berries on organic rye bread.  A warm bath with lavender oil, and so much more.  xxxx

Start by writing a short list each morning and night of what you are grateful for, and then sit quietly for a few minutes and feel the gratitude and love in your heart.
