Stopping

Sometimes I just have to stop – really stop! Rest, sleep, stare at the sky, breathe and relax. Do nothing. Because sometimes that is all I can do.

Life can be challenging and full of twists and turns. The journey can sometimes be exhausting! When I stop I gain perspective, I feel nourished, I listen, I am gentle with myself. I become the observer of my thoughts and feelings, and I lovingly take care of myself. Then I am ready to resurface. Creative ideas start to flow again. I do the things I love to do. I begin the next drawing, the next painting. I begin to plan my next workshop, take some photos, plant some seeds in my garden, write the next page in my book.

One small step at a time. Always small steps. One amazing breath at a time.
I begin again. Xxx

When you need to stop, lovingly STOP. Xxx
